Ferrari reached the hightest top speed on the main straight of the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya, although, like several other teams, benefited from the toe behind other cars, while Racing Point was fastest after the full-throttle Turn 3.
Due to more downforce and more conservative use of its power units, Ferrari reached relatively low top speeds on the main straight, around 310 km/h, but with the help of DRS and slipstream, they managed to achieve 336.7 km/h, more than 20 km/h than they would have achieved without it, which is the highest speed on this year’s tests.
