The Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari track in Imola is one of the fastest in the calendar, and different cars were the fastest on different speed measurements – we bring you an overview of top speeds on all four measurement points in qualifying and in the race.
AUTODROMO ENZO E DINO FERRARI
TOP SPEEDS – QUALIFYING
The first column shows speeds at 120 meters before Turn 17 (Rivazza 1) which is a consequence of the ecit from Variante Alta after which there is not much room to accelerate to top speeds and the fastest were Williams drivers Russell and Latifi.
The second column shows the speeds at the start and finish line, the third at the end of the first sector, between turns six (Villeneuve) and seven (Tosa), and the fourth column shows the speeds at the exit from Turn 13 (Acque Mineralli).
Unfortunately, there is no official speed measurement towards the end of the main straight, but the cars reached more than 320 km/h in the qualifying before the first braking zone (for example Norris and Verstappen 324 km/h, Perez 323 km/h, Hamilton 322 km/h).
