Fernando Alonso tested the new McLaren 2018 F1 car MCL33 for the first time on spanish track Navarra, few hours after McLaren launched their first Renault powered F1 car.

Alonso was honored to drive the first miles in the new MCL33, the first McLaren with Renault engines with which Spaniard won his two titles in 2005 and 2006.

McLaren used first of two filming days of the season on spanish track Navarra to get ready for the start of the pre-season testing in Barcelona.

During the day, for the recording of promotional materials, the team can drive no more than 100 kilometers on special Pirelli tyres.

Mercedes, Red Bull and Toro Rosso had their filming days in rainy conditions.
