The Haas F1 Team was the first to show photos of its new car for 2020 F1 season via its digital channels, though the real car will only officially be launched on the first day of pre-season testing in Barcelona on February 19th.
The new car is an evolution of an inconsistent predecessor, which wa ssometimes very fast, but sometimes also disappointingly slow, especially in races where it used its tyres too aggresively, and new VF-20 follows last year’s Ferrari car in several areas.
The big change is the return to traditional Haas white-black-red color scheme after last year’s black-and-gold combination, which they had because of sponsor Rich Energy and for the first time on the front wing they have some red color that is also dominant on the rear wing .
Haas will have the same driver lineup this year as in the last three seasons – Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen.
