Triple world champion Lewis Hamilton has launched a helmet design competition for fans who will have an opportunity to design his 2017. helmet and win a full sized replica.
Mercedes driver published helmet tempate on his Instagram profile to enable fans to evolve it and present their vision of design for 2017.
Hamilton changed the helmet design in 2014. and three years later Briton opted for another major change.
“I’m on the lookout for a dope new layout that evolves my current theme and features the candy apple red in my existing design,” explained the Briton on his Instagram profile.
“I’ll be picking the design that I feel is the most stylish, inspiring, iconic and eye-catching.”
World champion will present a full-size replica to the winner of the competition.
Drivers during the season must use one design helmets, and on one race they can use a special design.
The contest closes on February 6 at 12:00 (GMT), before the start of pre-season testing in Barcelona starting on February 27.
