Nico Rosberg joined Mercedes in 2010., same year when Mercedes made their F1 comeback as a manufacturer, and he won his first race and first for Mercedes in China 2012., their first win since 1955. when their cars were driven by Juan Manuel Fangio i Stirling Moss.
Mercedes became increasingly competitive in 2013. when they started to regularly lock out the front row and winning three times, but only when new hibrid turbo era came into play in 2014. they became really dominant – Hamilton and Rosberg won 51 from 59 races in 2014., 2015. and 2016.
Lewis won two titles in 2014. and 2015., but Nico bounced back in 2016. and sealed the championship with four consecutive second places at the last four races.
