Sergio Perez drove the first laps for Red Bull in a 2019 F1 car after the new car was shown to the public for the first time today by releasing studio photos, and Red Bull chose the Silverstone track for tomorrow’s first kilometers with the new RB16B.
Today, Red Bull presented the car with which they want to win the title in the last season with Honda and in addition to a stronger engine, they should be helped by Max Verstappen’s new team-mate Sergio Perez.
Perez arrived at Red Bull after Alexander Albon failed to meet strict Red Bull criteria and Perez was available as Racing Point, today’s Aston Martin, brought in Sebastian Vettel.

The Mexican drove the first laps for the new team at Silverstone today using a 2019 RB15 that meets FIA two-year-old car rules so the team doesn’t have to spend a filming day.
In the changing conditions at Silverstone, Perez used tyres for rainy and dry conditions and Red Bull announced that the new car will be tested for the first time tomorrow when it will use the filming day in which they are allowed to drive 100 kilometers.
