Kimi Raikkonen set the fastest time in final practice session for Spanish GP in Barcelona after beating his team mate Sebastian Vettel for more than two tenths of a second finishing ahead of two Mercedes drivers Hamilton and Bottas who were not much quicker than yesterday.
Raikkonen was almost a second faster than his FP2 time yesterday while Hamilton found only two tenths. Bottas didn’t improve due to his very late appearance after problems with his power unit.
Red Bulls were again fifth and sixth fastest while Hulkenberg was again best ofthe rest in seventh, less than a tenth ahead of Massa. Their team mates Stroll and Palmer were 17th and 18th respectively.
Sainz again showed good pace for Toro Rosso in 9th, just like Alonso in his McLaren Honda who was 10th fastest, on the same track where he made his first 2016 Q3 appareance.
