Daniel Ricciardo has tested the new Red Bull RB14 for the first time on rainy Silverstone during the first filming day that the team used for basic system checks.
Although the weather was bad, Red Bull conducted the first test on the track for their new car, making RB14 the first F1 car this season that was tested on the track.
Ricciardo drove on special wet Pirelli tyres and could drive only 100 kilometers, but the test should help Red Bull to get ready for the first test in Barcelona starting on February 26th.
Red Bull is also the first team to show photographs of the car in contrast to Haas and Williams who have shown the digital rendering of their new F1 cars for 2018.
