Aston Martin’s Red Bull Racing will be second team to present their new 2018 F1 car behind the Williams F1 team, opposite of their usually late car launches in previous seasons.
Due to the bad start of last season, Red Bull decided to take a new approach this year in order to collect as many laps as possible during the pre-season testing to avoid falling behind the leaders Mercedes and Ferrari.
The new Aston Martin Red Bull RB14 will be launched on 19 February, four days after Williams but three days before Mercedes and Ferrari.
“We are focused on earlier launch, which means about five days earlier,” Christian Horner commented late last year.

“But these five days are actually pretty valuable to start the season on the right foot.”
“Our intention is to try to get to the first test and drive 100 laps.”
Force India and Haas are only teams yet to announce their launch dates.
