Lando Norris says he made the most progress last season in the races and decisions he made on the track which was his weakness in his 2019 F1 debut season, ahead of Daniel Ricciard’s arrival at McLaren this season.

Lando Norris has announced that he is positive for COVID-19 coronavirus disease and is currently in a two-week self-isolation in Abu Dhabi ahead of preparations for the new 2021 F1 season.

In the final lap of the championship, Sergio Perez overtook Land Norris and thus directly secured 10th place in the drivers' championship, calling his overtaking move 'one of the best of his career'.

McLaren's F1 team boss Andreas Seidl is disappointed that his team did not score points with both cars after a disastrous first lap for Carlos Sainz, but is pleased that they increased points lead over Renault in the constructors' standings with seventh place for Lando Norris.
