After fans from around the world witnessed yesterday’s on-line launch of the F1-75, today the car ran for the first time, completing 15 kilometres, as part of a demonstration run organised for Scuderia Ferrari partners.
Carlos Sainz says this was not the best race for him although the team collectively achieved a very good result and due to the slow tyre change the Spaniard was stuck behind Daniel Ricciardo in McLaren which he failed to overtake despite eight laps fresher tyres.
